Class Descriptions
Level 1
The foundation and basic asanas (poses), standing, sitting, forward extension are taught; shoulder-stand is introduced relaxation is practiced.
Level 1 - 2
A deeper study of asanas; shoulderstand; head balance and backbends are introduced; all basic asanas are taught and relaxation is practiced.
Restorative & Pranayama
The focus of this class is on restoring your energy and relaxing the mind and body. Pranayama, the yogic art of breathing is taught and practiced the last Friday of the month.
Gentle Yoga & Meditation
This class is sequenced at a slower pace. Meditation and yoga will be explored to enhance relaxation, mental clarity and balance. Recommended for seniors
Children: Ages 5-12
The children's yoga class approaches yoga playfully. Yoga is a fun, supportive and a non-competitive way for children to exercise together. Yoga enhances the ability to focus, concentrate and learn more effectively.
